Jill Duffy - 7th Grade Jr. High Math
|
I earned my bachelors degree in mathematics and secondary education from the
University of St. Francis in 2000. I taught high school math at Coal City High School for
five years before taking time off to raise my children. I began teaching at St. Rose in
2010 where I am currently the 5th - 8th grade math teacher. Along with teaching, I
oversee the main fundraising of the school as the P.T.O. president since 2008.
I love teaching at St. Rose for a number of reasons. Being a graduate of St. Rose I'fve
never forgotten the impact of the faith, values, and discipline that were instilled in me at
a very young age. I am blessed to be able to pass those characteristics onto my students
along with an advanced math curriculum. St. Rose is a true family atmosphere and
teaching at the younger levels is so refreshing as each child has proven so eager to
learn!
My husband Luke and I reside in Wilmington with our five children. They keep me very
busy but my other hobbies include jogging, camping, and family vacations.
